Working on the road

Even the most experienced business person can get caught off guard while on the road. We understand that being connected and planning ahead is essential. We have put together a list of frequently asked questions from our corporate travellers to help plan your stay at Caroline Brighton:


Does your hotel have Wifi and how much does it cost?
Yes! Being that it is 2016 we have Wifi in all rooms. It is password protected so be sure to ask us when you check in. It is also complimentary with every stay so you can stay connected with the office or update your Facebook status with ease!

I’m hiring a car and need somewhere safe to park, do you have anything available?
Yes, we have a few spaces in the secure car parking under the building available to guests. You will need to book this in advance and the cost is $10 per night. It is secure and we share the car park with other residents. Please note if you have hired a car you might have trouble parking, please let us know so we can try to find an easy spot for you!

Are taxi’s easy to get in the morning?
It depends on the time of day, generally they take between 5 - 10 min to arrive but if you need one to be booked we can arrange this for you. Alternatively there is a Taxi Rank in front of Woolworths on Church Street. It is always advised to book earlier than you need.

Is it easy to get to and from the Airport?
Yes it is quite easy, you have three options;
  1. From Melbourne airport, take the Skybus to Southern Cross Station, then a train to Flinders Street Station and change to the Sandringham Line. Be sure to get off at Middle Brighton Station. Getting back to the airport is the same journey but in reverse. 
  2. Taxi’s are readily available at Melbourne Airport Taxi Rank.
  3. We have a private car that can be arranged in advance at a flat rate of $100 one way. The driver will have your flight details and will be waiting for you to arrive.

I left my phone charger at the airport, do you have a spare?
We do have a collection of chargers, left behind by previous guests. See the team at reception and you may be in luck, depending on the phone you have!

My flight is delayed and I won’t arrive until late at night, what do I do?
Always better to anticipate delays at the airport! Make sure the contact details we have for you are up to date, so we can contact you with our out of hour’s procedure. It is very simple but for first time users it can help for us to talk it through, this will take the extra stress out of your arrival!
